I have to admit, I ordered this toy because the whole idea of it is a little creepy. It’s a disembodied tongue that makes realistic licking motions! Imagine if they made a disembodied hand to finger yourself with? Creepy right? Well that’s what I think about the Tongue.
However, I’m also secretly turned on by the idea. What girl wouldn’t, a tongue that is robotic so it never gets tired and you can put it exactly where you want it, when you want it!
When the Tongue II arrived, I was a bit surprised at it’s size. (8.75" x 2.5", including 4.75" controller) I hadn’t really looked at the dimensions given on the Wild in Secret website where I ordered it from, and I kind of expected it to be life size. WRONG! This is not only a disembodied tongue… it’s a GIANT disembodied tongue! Sorry Gene Simmons, the ladies have another lashing muscle to swoon over!
Part of what makes the Tongue seem so intimidating is the giant square handle/battery pack/motor that it’s attached to. It’s just a plastic box that holds all the parts and whatnot, but it is pretty large. And as can be expected with such massive hardware, this toy is loud. If you want private time with this toy, I highly suggest you only use it when you are alone. As in, the only person in the house!
The Tongue is not a vibrator really because the movements it makes are more like squirming and undulating. When I finally got up the guts to put it to use, I laid it flat against my entire vulva and let it squirm around against my flesh. I really like to warm up with sensations all over, not just on my clit, and this toy is fantastic for that.
As I need more intense sensations, I moved the flicking tip of the tongue to my clit and used it to make lickity circles around and over my bud. Holy cow I really liked that. And surprise surprise, you can adjust this baby’s speed! Right when you need it, you can tell this thing to go faster! faster! and it obeys.
Just one word of warning, this toy can only be used for 30 minutes (according to quite a lengthy warning sheet included in the package) and needs a 15 minute cool down period before using again. I guess it isn’t so different from sex with your boyfriend after all eh?
This is a very unique toy and as such it provides some really unique sensations. I quite liked it!
